Math Club Ranks Among Top in MIC Championships
|
Over sixty Math Club members competed in this year’s statewide Math Is Cool Championship round on February 9, 2022. The four-hour competition included rounds for mental math, individual exam, team exam, team multiple choice, the triple jump, and college bowl. In the end, our members performed among the best in the state.
Our school placed: 2nd among 6th grades | 3rd among 7th grades | 3rd among 8th grades
We also had several individuals who achieved trophy-level placement in their respective grade-level categories: Parthiv M. placed 8th | Anshul R. placed 11th | Ella S. placed 12th | Sophie Z. placed 6th | Iris Z. placed 12th.

Enjoy an exciting new twist on the classic favorite following Dorothy to the land of Oz where she encounters whimsical creatures and makes friends who help one another on their journey to see the great and powerful Oz. Health Requirements Update In compliance with new Public Health - Seattle & King County regulations, Redmond will remove vaccine verification requirements, which includes showing show proof of vaccination or negative test results, for visitors in its recreational facilities and community centers starting on Tuesday, March 1. While masks are still required, Governor Inslee recently announced that indoor masking requirements will lift on March 21 in schools, gyms, recreation centers, restaurants, and grocery stores.Share Your Thoughts on Redmond 2050 In 2021 the community shared their priorities for future housing, economic vitality, and transportation in Redmond. The City used this information to create first drafts of those chapter policies for the updated Redmond Comprehensive Plan. Now we want to hear from you again; are we on the right track? | The Lake Washington PTSA Council is pleased to roll out its 2022 Scholarship Program! Council offers several student scholarships and two $500 staff scholarships every spring. This year’s Student Scholarship Program will include 13 scholarships of $1,250 each. Applications for both staff and student scholarships are due by midnight on March 25, 2022. The Scholarship Program is funded by money raised at the Council’s annual Scholarship Auction, by annual donations from the 44 PTSAs in our Council, the LWEA, and by donations from the greater community.
