LGBTQ+ TRAVEL GUIDE TO MOROCCO
|
Although 2020 has been a challenging year for travel, t's never too early to start planning that next trip. IGLTA has just published a new LGBTQ+ travel guide to the popular north African destination. Morocco in one word is vibrant. From the white, snow-capped Atlas Mountains to the golden hues of the Sahara Desert to the lush green farms, travelers are immersed in the vibrant colors of a geographically diverse nation. It’s also important to note that in Morocco LGBTQ+ people do not have the same protections afforded in many countries in North America or Europe. So if you visit Morocco, it’s important to use street sense and avoid public displays of affection, as this is culturally frowned upon for both opposite and same-sex couples.
