KSV began the semester with 20 hours of engaging training focused on innovative teaching, student well-being, and child growth 🌿. Our team learned from inspiring speakers — covering topics like bullying awareness, child protection, student health, and creative lesson design 📚.
Special thanks to Supriya Ekbote, Krishna Sutar, Robinson Kremlin, Parvati Malladi, and Rasmi Shiratti for their inspiring sessions throughout the week!
The week ended with an All-Staff Meeting and a fun team-building day at the Eco-Village 🌳 — leaving everyone refreshed, connected, and ready for the new semester ahead! 🙌🏽

The last three months also marked our parent-teacher meeting. This opportunity allowed for the families of our students to come visit campus to see how their children are growing and thriving while at KSV✨. Parents were filled with pride as our talented students showcased their performance skills through the arts program. We are truly grateful to all members of the KSV family for joining us in this cherished tradition 🙏. It’s always a joy to celebrate our students’ artistic progress and dedication together💫❤️.

💃 Exploring Kathak Performance From Kalkeri to Pune
|
KSV staff, students, and volunteers had the opportunity to travel to Pune during the holiday break to support our exceptional alumna Renuka Sulagekar, who is currently pursuing advanced Kathak studies in Pune🌟. Renuka was performing in a birthday celebration for her Guruji, renown Kathak pioneer Guru Shama Bhate🎂. It was inspiring to see our KSV student thriving as she passionately pursues her art with grace and dedication.
The KSV team also had the opportunity to connect with former KSV Kathak teacher, Geetanjali Bhapkar, who spoke to us about her work in Pune after leaving KSV🤝. We ended our trip to Pune by visiting Nadroop Dance Academy, where Sulagekar rehearses under Guru Shama Bhate🪔. This trip to Pune demonstrated that KSV is nurturing confidence, and professional pathways for the next generation of classical dancers in India💖.

🎶 A Morning of Music – Powered by EdelGive
|
With the generous support 🙏 of the EdelGive Foundation, our quarterly music programmes continue to thrive 🎵. In September, EdelGive hosted a large program at KSV, creating a day filled with music and joy 🎶. We had the honour of hosting Pandit Shripad Hegde, accompanied by Shri. Satish Bhat Heggar on the harmonium and Shri. Shridhar Mandre on the tabla, for a two-hour-long, truly mesmerizing musical improvisation. Our vocal teacher Archana Pattar also delighted the audience with beautiful solo performances and student group presentations. This was such a wonderful end to the semester🌸!
Students delivered enthralling performances 🎤 under the guidance of our dedicated teachers. Our students are not only mastering technique but also learning to express emotion, creativity, and unity through music. The energy across the campus is contagious — laughter, rhythm, and singing blend together to create an atmosphere that truly embodies the spirit of KSV 🌟🎼🙌.

☀️ Training Future Musicians - Powered by EdelGive |
The EdelGive Foundation has also brough music professionals from across India to KSV's campus to help train the future of Indian musicians 🎶. In August, we hosted a tabla workshop with Pandit Ramdas Palsule Guruji. The workshop offered our students a rare opportunity to explore the various dimensions of Tabla learning. KSV also hosted music and songwriting workshop with Pandit Kumar Mardur. Our vocal culture workshop offered insight into the importance of Riyaz (dedicated daily practice), paltas (practice patterns) and a beautiful exploration of ragas, their mood, structure, and performance approach. We are so grateful to EdelGive for their continued support in cultivating our students' skills 💖.

🚓 A Inspiring Visit: Officials Connect with Our Community |
In early September, KSV was honored to welcome District Commissioner Sri Divya Prabu and Superintendent of Police Sri Gunjun Arya to our campus 🤝. The Superintendent of Police even took the time to sit with our students to answer their questions. It was a wonderful opportunity for our students to learn about the inspiring work they do for our community 👮🏽♀️.
We are deeply grateful for this recognition of KSV on such an important level 🙏 and thankful for the chance to perform for these esteemed officials 🎶 — a proud and memorable moment for our entire school family! 🎉

🎓 Spreading Wellness: Partnership with Laval University |
Thanks to our partnership with Laval University (Quebec, Canada), which allows us to host student interns each year between June and August, we were happy to welcome four interns this year: Julia Wang, Éléonore Laplante, Stéphanie Carignan, and Sarah-Maude Ruest (from left to right in the photo).
Julia and Éléonore, both nursing students, worked closely with our on-site nurse at the Bobo House 🩹 and provided valuable support in student health care while gaining hands-on experience in a new environment.
Stéphanie, a physiotherapy student, helped our students through movement, massage, and exercise. With her experience working with athletes, she brought great expertise to our school💪. Sarah-Maude studies occupational therapy, a field that focuses on helping people carry out daily activities such as writing, dressing, or sitting comfortably☺️. Together, Stéphanie and Sarah-Maude supported students and staff with posture and injury-related issues, offering practical tips and treatments to improve comfort and mobility.
In addition to their daily work, all four interns led health workshops for students, promoting healthy habits and better body awareness⛑️. This partnership plays an essential role in improving our students’ well-being, supporting our full-time nurse, and bringing new skills and approaches to health care that our students might not otherwise have access to.

Following this, a heartfelt puja for Mahatma Gandhi and Bharat Mata 🙏 filled the campus with a spirit of gratitude, peace, and reverence.
