As we step into a new year, we’re thinking deeply about what it means to build clarity early on in relationships, leadership and in the systems that shape young people’s lives - everything Project Greenlight is about. February has been about expanding our brand new (and very dear) Project Greenlight, and celebrating our fellows’ incredible work across geographies! We’re grateful to have you on this journey with us! <3

Here’s what we’ve been up to.

đź’« In the Spotlight:

🌱Welcoming Our Youth Research Council: The very first faces of Project Greenlight!

Mathangi in the Brown
Earlier, we introduced Project Greenlight. This month, we’re proud to officially welcome 10 young leaders to our Youth Research Council under #ProjectGreenlight. These students represent 4 high schools across Boston, Oklahoma, San Jose and Natick City, bringing their experiences and perspectives into conversations on healthy relationships, safety, and emotional literacy. At the center of this expansion is Nikethana Karthikeyan, serving as our Chapter Lead, guiding the council’s research and peer engagement efforts.

So, instead of designing prevention work for young people, we are building it with them. Over the coming weeks, we’ll be introducing each council member across our social platforms (Instagram and LinkedIn) their stories and reflections. They’re already asking questions like “How can we prevent harm way before it has already happened?”. These young passionate people will help shape how Project Greenlight expands to educators, parents, and caregivers.

Follow us as we spotlight each young leader and document this journey!

🧠  Project Greenlight Survey — Now Live:

Mathangi in the Brown
Project Greenlight is now live on our website and so is our listening survey.

We have just launched one of the largest youth- and parent-led listening surveys on relationships and safety in the US and Canada. This survey will directly shape: Workshops, parent and educator resources, A public white paper releasing in 2026

Your voice matters and participation is completely anonymous.

3. Gram Chetna Solver Residency under the Chetna-Lab Youth Cohort.
Cohort 2 alum Priyanka Kumari’s organization, Gram Chetna, hosts 3 days of the Solver Residency under the Chetna-Lab Youth Cohort. The session created a safe, judgment-free space for young participants to turn inward and explore emotional awareness.

Conversations moved beyond individual feelings to reflective questions like â€śWhat makes you feel alive and able to express yourself?” examining age, career pressure, social-economic realities, and the stereotypes young people navigate daily.

Resource of the Month📚 :

Trauma Resilience Measurement (TRM) Index

We’re proud to share the Trauma Resilience Measurement (TRM) Index as a tool that makes inner healing measurable, visible, and actionable. Built from research, lived experience, and work with 100+ leaders across 9 countries. The TRM tracks how survivors move from trauma to resilience across: emotional, physical, and social dimensions. It will give you a language for growth that often remains invisible.
