🏠 Training KSV for the New Semester |
To prepare for KSV's upcoming academic year, our staff attending our bi-annual training week before students arrived! Thanks to the support of inspiring speakers and workshop leaders, our staff learned about important topics such as student safety, mental health awareness, and ethical education. Special thanks to Supriya Ekbote, Jayalaxmi H, and Krishna Sutar for leading important sessions throughout this week!
This week ended with our All-Staff meeting, where all of KSV's staff from across different departments come together to discuss KSV's future. This meeting left our staff feeling passionate and excited about the upcoming academic year! |
At the end of May KSV welcomed its brand new 1st Standard class! Our new class is 17 students: 7 girls and 10 boys! We are thrilled to have the newest members of the KSV family on our campus! |
✏️ Improving Student Welfare One Person at a Time |
We are thrilled to announce our new Student Welfare Head of Department, Yashwanti Shinde🎉! She is an accomplished educator and training leader with over 15 years of teaching and extensive leadership experience in academic and skill development sectors. She has previously worked at several First Grade Colleges and private institutions across Northern Karnataka📚. Her impact-driven leadership earned her the role of Divisional Manager (Impact Division Head) for Uttara Kannada, where she managed programs across 12 colleges. Shinde also served as a Training of Trainers (ToT) Lead, mentoring and managing over 120 trainers across four states. We look forward to her contributions to holistic growth and student-driven initiatives at KSV💡! |
🏡 A New Home for Our Young Girls |
In May, the KSV community came together to celebrate the inauguration of a new hostel for our younger girls 🏡, creating a safer and more comfortable space for them to live and grow.
We are deeply grateful to Crest Speciality Resins Pvt. Ltd. 🙏 for supporting this important initiative, which reflects our shared commitment to improving the wellbeing and living conditions of our students ✨. |
🛡️ Building a Safe and Supportive Learning Environment |
KSV recently conducted a Child Safety workshop 🤝 for teachers, hostel wardens, and Performing Arts faculty, reinforcing the shared responsibility of creating a safe and supportive environment for every child 🌱.
The school also hosted a Parents’ Meeting 🏫, where the Heads of Departments 🎤 shared updates on student development, while parents enjoyed a special Art Exhibition 🎨 showcasing the creativity and talent of our students ✨. |
🦷 Caring for Community Health |
In July, KSV hosted a Dental Check-Up Camp 🦷 led by Dr. Vijay Trasad from SDM College of Dental Sciences & Hospital, in collaboration with healthcare professionals and visiting international nursing volunteers 🌍.
The camp provided dental check-ups, health assessments, and preventive treatment ✅, offering valuable support to our students and community while reflecting the spirit of collaboration and care 🤝. |
🎉 Agra Gharana’s Reward: A Day of Adventure |
For their hard-earned victory 🏅 in last year’s House Shield competition, the Agra Gharana students were rewarded with an exhilarating day at the Dharwad Adventure Base 🧗.
Laughter, cheers, and words of encouragement echoed throughout the day 😄, as students celebrated their success not just with fun, but also with the shared spirit that helped them win in the first place. It was a perfect reminder that teamwork, determination, and joy go hand in hand. |
🗳️ Young Voices, Future Leaders |
In June the KSV community came together for the School Parliament elections 🏫 as students voted to elect seven student representatives 🗳️ for the academic year. The elected students will now represent their peers, share ideas for the school 💡, and develop their leadership, confidence, and sense of citizenship 🌟 throughout the year.

🤝 A Day of Learning and Joy with PwC India |
In July KSV had the pleasure of welcoming 30 volunteers from PwC India from Bengaluru for a day filled with learning, interaction, and celebration.
Students participated in cyber safety sessions 🔐, quiz and speaking competitions 🧠🎤, singing, kathak, and tabla performances 🎶💃🥁, and sports activities ⚽, while wardens attended a session on ownership and accountability. The visit also included a meaningful tour of KKGSS 🇮🇳, where India’s national flag is made.
It was a joyful day of sharing knowledge, building connections, and creating memorable experiences together 💛. |
🎵 A Morning of Music – Powered by EdelGive |
Thanks to the generous support 🙏 of the EdelGive Foundation, our quarterly music programmes continue to be defining moments of the year 🎵. End of June, KSV hosted a soulful Morning of Music. We had the honour of hosting Smt. Suma Hegde for a santoor performance, accompanied by Shri Santhosh Hegde on the tabla 🥁. Our Kathak💃, tabla, and vocal🎤 students also delighted audiences with wonderful performances.
This special morning reflected KSV’s belief that music is not an extracurricular activity, but an integral part of learning, helping our students grow with discipline, culture, and tradition 🌼. |
🏆 Honouring Musical Excellence |
In June, we were proud to congratulate Shivanand Heggeri and Siddaroodh Kagar 🌟, who received the 2026 Himanshu Roy Award for Excellence in Music 🎶 in recognition of their dedication, discipline, and passion for Hindustani Classical Music. |
🎭 A Stage for Karnataka’s Rising Artists |
In July, the Kannada Cultural Department 🎨 hosted a vibrant cultural program at KSV, celebrating the talents 🌟 of young local artists through music, dance, and rhythm.
For our students, it was an inspiring experience and a beautiful reminder of Karnataka’s rich cultural heritage. We are grateful to the department for bringing this meaningful celebration of tradition and artistry to our campus 🙏. |
🙏 Honouring Our Mentors – Guru Purnima |
Guru Purnima is one of the most heartfelt days ❤️ at KSV, when students come together to honour and thank every member of the KSV family.
This year, students offered beautiful performances 🎼 as expressions of gratitude 🙇. The day was filled with respect, tradition 📜, and appreciation for the dedication and care that make KSV a true home for learning and growth 🌟. |
🌱 Performing for the Planet |
KSV students celebrated World Environment Day 🌱 through a variety of creative performances, including dances 💃, drama presentations 🎭, mime acts, and awareness talks. The performances highlighted important environmental themes such as deforestation 🌳, water conservation 💧, and the protection of our planet 🌍. |
