Applications
for the Twin Cities Collage Collective Collage Materials Scholarship are
open through May 31st, 2024!
This project is
intended for new and emerging collage artists based in the U.S., and
those who identify as BIPOC and/or LGBTQIA2S+ are prioritized for this
project and are encouraged to apply.
We have distributed more than 100
packets via mail to collage artists in the U.S. through this program
since 2021.
A U.S.-based shipping address is required to receive
the scholarship. We are not able to fill requests from international
applicants due to costs and restrictions associated with international
shipping.
Applicants may receive one packet in a 12-month period.
If your request could not be filled, please apply during the next
application period. This is to maximize the number of recipients and
spread the resources we have available as far as possible.
We are
committed to amplifying the voices of BIPOC and LGBTQIA2S+ artists, and
will do our best to connect as many new and emerging collage artists
with materials as possible.
If you would like to support this project with a monetary donation,
you can do so here. We are trying to raise an additional $300 to cover postage & supplies for an additional 42 mailings this summer. To stretch our postage budget further, we are asking recipients in the Twin Cities area to consider picking up their packet rather than having it mailed.
We have already received our highest number of applications to date, and have begun the first wave of acceptances, with 25 applications approved this week. We're excited to share that mailing has begun today :-)
