Friends of Rutland & Stamford Sound

Earlier this month we launched our Friends Club. This is an exciting new venture for us, and we are very grateful to everyone who has joined so far.

To become a Friend of Rutland & Stamford Sound, we are asking our supporters to make a contribution of £10 per month. In addition to receiving regular updates about the station and invitations to Friends events, each new member will receive two joining gifts - one of our high quality Rutland & Stamford Sound tote bags, and an exclusive Friend of Rutland & Stamford Sound mug.

At a time when all local radio stations are facing challenges due to the pressures on traditional revenue streams, we are optimistic that the Friends Club will play an important role in helping us to make Rutland & Stamford Sound financially sustainable or many years to come. An Evening of Sport

There is now just one week to go until our fabulous Evening of Sport at Stamford Corn Exchange Theatre, on Thursday 6 November. We are hosting a star-studded sports panel who will talk to our presenters about their careers and achievements, followed by an audience Q&A. 

The panel will feature personalities from a range of sports, all with links to the local area, including former England fast bowler, Matthew Hoggard, Leicester Tigers legend Geordan Murphy and from football, former Posh and Scotland striker, Craig Mackail-Smith. 

We would love to see as many of our supporters as possible at this joint fundraiser for Rutland & Stamford Sound and the Stamford Corn Exchange. It promises to be great show! For information on the full line up and details of how to buy tickets,  click here.
DAB update

We are aware that there have been some interruptions to our DAB+ audio, in the mornings throughout October. We have been carrying out extensive investigations and are doing our best to fix any faults. Online is operating as normal. If you notice anything amiss, please let us know via our Listener Feedback form!
