It's been a week and a half! How's yours been? The lead up to September madness has already begun. Are you ready for it?
On our side of things we are still engaged in the ongoing efforts to stablize the unfolding situation in Afghanistan, as we mentioned in our previous newsletter. And on that, we look at who will bear responsibility for the Taliban takeover in 'Shaping Tomorrow'. What are your thoughts on this? A contentious issue, we're sure.
On a lighter note, in 'Diversions' we had a look at what educator and structural engineer Nehemiah Mabry said to Wired about all the different kinds of bridges in the world (cable-stayed, suspension, arch, truss) and which types are used in which situations. If you've got a thing for how feats in engineering are achieved, this one's for you!
Let's end this week with Raphael Gualazzi's Madness of Love. It's the perfect blend of jazz, theatrics and an Italian love song. Need we say more?
Spirits up! Team E. |

Hello again, 'King of Arab Pop' |
|
We are super excited to announce that one of our clients is topping the charts again! Aziz Abdo, dubbed the 'King of Arab Pop' has recently released a new dance hit, One Night. We started working with the former Mr. Lebanon a few years back and have been behind him on his journey since.
The gold awarded singer/song writer with a flair for Latino fire continues to blaze a trail of summer hits following the success of previous songs, “Jaou Jnoun” and “Enty Tsharrafi”. One Night, released by label CIMA Records with FRNDS Music and Universal Music is a pop hit full of electric riffs and lyrics to send you to the dance floor.
After releasing five albums that has sold several hundreds of thousands copies in Middle East, Aziz Abdo is taking his career to a new level with his upcoming pop-latino hit song.
The song and music video are available now on platforms worldwide.

We know everyone says it's not all work, it's about play, too – and as much as we don't want to sound like a broken record, there is truth in the truism. Like we said earlier, we are all about ingesting the complex and the trivial in equal measure. In fact, we love nothing more than thinking deeply about the more 'playful' things in life. Read ' em and ponder away. |

If you think about it, a situation is always neutral, but our mind attaches meaning to it and interprets it as positive or negative from its own world view and perspective. |
