The School Board wants to hear from you about a possible referendum proposal in the spring elections.
Thanks to inflation, declining enrollment, and state funding decisions, South Milwaukee schools are in a budget crunch. Passing a referendum could solve projected deficits and possibly provide services the community wants.
The first game: What our new fields mean to the community
Tonight is the homecoming football game at 7 p.m. It's also our second varsity home game. Check out the nearly-finished track (just the lines have to be painted)!
The benefits of early childhood education are real and measurable. All Day 4K has been available at each of our elementary schools since 2018. In addition to the benefits to children, there’s a benefit to their families, too.
