Hello Neighbors,
As we welcome a new year, we have so many blessings to celebrate. Last year marked our 5-year anniversary – and thanks to this community, since our founding we have supported 19,000 people by giving $750,000 in food a gift cards to families in need.
Most recently, our holiday giving events provided food support for 124 local families! We nearly doubled our fundraising goal and therefore were able to give more to those who needed our help. THANK YOU to the 228 donors that made this possible!
Across our city, the needs continue to grow – even right here in Ballantyne. We see it in the number of requests from our food pantry. During the first half of the school year, the number of orders has almost tripled from the same time last year. We are thankful that our pantry shelves are well stocked and we are managing the surge.
Please continue to help us raise awareness for our organization – as a service for those in need, a worthy cause for donations, and an outlet for volunteering. Follow our social media channels and share our newsletter with others. And if you or someone you know needs assistance, please let a school counselor know. We are here for you.
