E. W. Luther Second grader Ryder can play the bass guitar, piano, and harmonica, but he loves the drums. Ryder will be accompanying his grade during next week's Spring Concert.
Update from the Superintendent

How do public schools teach students to play music? It's a process that starts as early as Kindergarten, but by high school can mean deep involvement in a world of musical opportunities. In this episode, we speak to instructors from elementary, middle, and high school about the process of learning and loving to play music as part of school.

The combined PTOs of Blakewood, E. W. Luther, Rawson and Lakeview elementary schools are hosting a free gameshow, minute-to-win-it style event at the High School Commons for 5th graders and their families.

This get-to-know-you event is meant to introduce students from the different schools before the spring camping trips.

Each school PTO will host 15-20 minutes of games and activities that mix and match 5th graders to start building connections for our soon-to-be 6th graders.
