VISITING UK
This is the first time I have visited England since before the pandemic. It seems as though I arrived in a time machine. Even the English money I brought is no longer legal tender - I had to go to a bank to trade it in. The weather has so far been clement, which is nice, and I notice that the south of England is becoming a café society in the way that I used to think of France. Many shops have gone out of business and the buildings have become cafés. There are also a lot of charity shops that survive as they pay lower tax. People are friendly and cheerful, but there is a pervasive sense that the country has seen better days. For myself it has been a pleasant time visiting people I love, going for walks together and having interesting conversations about life, therapy, society and spirit. A rewarding visit. This coming Saturday I shall play my part in the seminar at Oxford which, I gather, is well booked. The other day, I got the interesting news that the Oxford Handbook of Meditation is to be translated into Vietnamese - amazing where one's work get to!

BUDDHIST PSYCHOLOGY SUMMER SCHOOL
-- Time to book --
David Brazier & Iris Dotan Katz - An in person meeting
If you are planning to come to the Summer School this year, now is the time to register your interest. There are only a limited number of places.
Enquiries & bookings to Jisshas <

Following the success of last year's Summer School, we are offering a five day residential workshop to explore Buddhist Psychology in theory and practice - especially practice. This is an excellent option for students on the BP programme, but the workshop is open to all who are interested.
The suggested donation for full board at Eleusis is 40€ per day, 250€ per week. Last year the students took over the catering and we thus had cuisine from a different country each day. As cooks often like to do their own shopping this can, of course, be taken into account when making a donation for the course and tutors.
