Beth Bridgers Johns
Photography
When Beth Johns retired from architecture and moved from Montana to Whidbey Island 13 years ago, she was immediately inspired to pick up her camera and photograph the landscapes and wildlife that stirred her soul. Her prints can be seen on her website at bethbjohnsphotoart.com and custom orders are welcomed! For each photograph, she works in the Photoshop digital dark room until the image reflects the emotions evoked in her by the scene. Andre Feriante
Photography of Historical Musical Instruments
Andre Feriante has devoted his life to music. Born in Italy, he began his musical journey with the Spanish guitar. After traveling in South America and Spain, where he studied with Andres Segovia in 1983, he settled in the US. He has performed professionally in the United States and internationally for over 40 years. In 2016 Andre moved to Langley, and his photography became inspired. His show currently on display at Artworks, "Stringstories", perfectly merges his two passions: creating beautiful music with a fine instrument and capturing its visual beauty in a photograph. He has collected and played these ancient relatives of the guitar in concert, exploring their wonderful and exotic sounds as well as finding them visually stunning and unique. Read More>>
