Leadership Development Opportunity Excellence in Leadership Program (ELP) The Excellence in Leadership Program (ELP) provides an exceptional opportunity for faculty and staff from the four CU System campuses and System office to become effective leaders. Want to write more in 2024? Faculty Affairs is organizing writing groups of 3 to 6 members to support your writing productivity. Writing groups for faculty can take several different forms with varied goals, including accountability for getting writing done; a space for sharing work for receiving feedback; a shared time for writing; or space for talking about the writing process and sharing tips, advice, and emotional/psychosocial support around difficulties with the writing process. Thriving at CU: New Faculty Series A monthly workshop series for tenure-track and teaching/clinical faculty who are in their first three years at CU Boulder. Meet other new faculty and get your questions answered! Participate in at least 8 “Thriving at CU” sessions over your first three years and earn a faculty development certificate.
Thriving in Community I: Panelists will share information to support new faculty members with diverse identities, such as faculty of color, LGBTQ+, and first-generation faculty, as they navigate the institution. This includes strategies around support for scholarship and finding community on and off campus. Thriving in Community II: This panel will help new faculty better understand the resources available to them through BFA, Ombuds, and Faculty Relations.
