Welcome to the Horace Mann Elementary School
Parent Teacher Student Association or PTSA!

The members of the PTSA support Horace Mann Elementary School by donating both time and money. See the many programs we run at https://mannptsa.org/Page/Pta/Mission. Your membership dues and donations will go right back into the school and all the programs and events we run as well as provide teacher and school grants.

Horace Mann Carnival will be June 16, 2023!!

The end of year carnival is fast approaching! We are excited to celebrate a wonderful year at Mann with everyone. We will have a cookout with hamburgers and hot dogs (vegan and gluten free options available). Get ready for cotton candy, sweet treats, games, prizes, photo booth, face painting, balloon animals, a cake walk, and fun with friends!

To make this happen we will need a lot of volunteers so please see sign up HERE and see where you or a family member can help (teens welcome!). We will need some grills and BBQ cooks as well. We will also have a cake walk! Included in the signup, please let us know if you can contribute a cake or a small group of cupcakes kids can win!

Wristbands and tickets are available for pre-sale and we highly recommend doing this to avoid the long line at the ticket booth and allow for more time to have fun. Buy your tickets and wristbands HERE.

Join us at our final PTSA Membership Meeting at 7pm, June 8th. You can attend at the Horace Mann Library or on Teams

We will vote in the new board for next year, approve next year's budget, and many other important items. Don't miss it! You do not have to be a PTSA member to attend and see what is happening next year. Voting, however, is reserved for members. If you have any questions e-mail president@mannptsa.org

5th Grade Families:
Photos Needed!

1. For the 5th Grade "Guess Who Board", we need a baby photo of your child e-mailed to yearbook@mannptsa.org by June 9th

2. For the 5th Grade slideshow, we would like 3-5 pictures of each student from different years in elementary school. If you can find photos of your child with other school friends, that would be preferable but individual photos are fine too.

Please, e-mail them to promotion@mannptsa.org or upload them to the link e-mailed to you by your teacher.

Rename your photos with the following convention before uploading or e-mailing it to us:

a single character representing the grade your child was in when the photo was taken (K,1,2,3,4,5) followed by an underscore then your student’s name
example: “1_AliceGoulding.jpg” would be a photo of Alice from the first grade

Photos need to be received by June 16^th to be included in the slideshow. E-mail promotion@mannptsa.org if you have any questions. Thanks!

End of Year Parties - Helpers Needed!

1st Grade -Sign up to help with the First Grade End of Year Party. June 16, 1:10PM - 3:10PM

2nd Grade - Sign up the help with the Second Grade End of Year Party June 14, 10:30-12:15pm. Check in at the office. The Party will be in the grassy area in the back of the school.

Yearbook sales are closed. If you ordered a book, your child will receive their yearbook the final week of school.

There will be a small number of extra yearbooks for sale. Information on how to purchase one of those will be sent via Parent Square. E-mail yearbook@mannptsa.org if you have any questions.
