My basketry is inspired by color, the seasons, fun shapes, the utility of basketry in our lives, and the feelings of delight that people have expressed upon seeing, touching, and experiencing my baskets. Over the 37 years in my adventure with basket weaving and selling, I have gained many patrons who are collectors of my work.
I treasure the amazing feeling I get when someone has said to me, “I think of you each time I see your basket,” or “You have incredible color schemes,” or “Your booth is a happy booth.” I am excited and honored to have been featured in the December 2024 issue of Whidbey Life Magazine.
