Hello all I am very excited to announce I've been selected to be the Musical Director for another lovely choir in Bath - City Sound Voices They rehearse on Wednesday evenings in Bath - and they are currently looking for more singers! So if you like singing all sorts of choral music - Musical Theatre to 15 Century Polyphony - do have a look at the website for details!
This week I am Musical Director for Bath Light Operatics Group's show called "Showtopia" at The Roper Theatre in Bath. Tickets are still available at ticket source. Next week we will be performing a concert version of the performance for All Saints Church Rock project in Weston Village in Bath. Tickets can be bought here
On Friday 19th April MyPubChoir is back at Burdalls' Yard so join me for a hearty sing song of some pop classics! No experience or booking necessary.

AND ... hot off the press... Bath Light Operatic Group will be performing My Fair Lady at the Theatre Royal Bath - and I will be their Musical Director leading the 19 piece orchestra.... with a harp in the pit too!! We open on the 10th September 2024 for the week.

Showtopia - Land of the Musicals Bath Light Operatic Group present their annual Songs from the Shows The Roper Theatre, Bath Thursday April 4th to 6th April 2024
Matt will be conducting this magical show, that will present you with some of your favourite Songs from the Shows. Bath Light Operatic Group recently won the Rose Bowl Award for Best Musical in the South West.
MY PUB CHOIR Burdalls Yard, BATH Friday 19th April - 7:30 for drinks, 8pm sing MyPubChoir is back at Burdall's Yard for more singing fun. What we sing on the night depends on who turns up, but generally we split into 2 or 3 part harmony and sing songs from the last 60 years in the charts. A free night of music in Bath - My choir Horizons will be performing along with The Noteables, and then later on I'll be leading the Widcombe Community Choir in Widcombe Community Centre.
COME AND SING HYMNS WITH ANTHEMS SUNG BY HORIZONS & THE JANE LILLEY SINGERS Saturday 18th May 2:30pm St.Mary's Bathwick
Come and sing some congregational favourites, interspersed with some fabulous choral anthems. The hymns will be accompanied by Bath Abbey's assistant organist Gary Desmond on the newly refurbished organ at St Mary's Bathwick.

Horizons Choir and the Jane Lilley Singers will lead from the front, bolstering the harmonies and soaring over the top with descants. After singing a couple of congregational blockbusters the choirs will perform an anthem, exploiting the wonderful resonant acoustics of this gorgeous building, while the congregation regain their breath before singing another classic hymn!
The concert will be no longer than 90 minutes without an interval.
