As we move through the year, we continue to be inspired by the leaders, fellows, and communities who remind us that meaningful change often begins with everyday conversations, and collective care. This month, we're excited to share updates from our fellowships, celebrate the achievements of our alumni, and highlight a resource that invites us to reflect on responsibility in new ways.

💫 In the Spotlight:

Grameen Jyothi Fellowship: Halfway Through the Journey

We are officially halfway through our Grameen Jyothi Fellowship, and what a journey it has been so far.
Mathangi in the Brown
This cohort brings together grassroots leaders-both women and men, from across rural India who are working every day to address issues such as gender inequality, education, community wellbeing, and social justice. Through workshops, peer learning, and reflection, fellows have been exploring trauma-informed leadership, healing, boundaries, power, and community change.

As we move into the second half of the fellowship, we are excited to see these learnings translate into action. In the coming months, fellows will begin launching their own community initiatives, applying what they have learned to create meaningful change within their local contexts. Stay tuned as we share their inspiring projects and stories!

🧠  Building Through Uncertainty: Mathangi Featured in Economic Insider

Our Founder and CEO, Mathangi Swaminathan, was featured in Economic Insider alongside founders reflecting on how they are navigating uncertainty and building sustainable organizations.

The feature highlighted Parity Lab's journey toward a more sustainable and adaptive model, including the evolution of our fellowship programs and the growth of prevention-focused initiatives such as Project Greenlight.
We’re grateful to be featured alongside leaders building through uncertain times, and even more grateful for the communities, fellows, young leaders, and parents who continue to shape this work with us. The work continues. Thank you for being by our side.

✨ Hamari Kahaniyan: Celebrating the Leaders Behind the Change

This month, we launched Hamari Kahaniyan-a storytelling series dedicated to introducing the incredible leaders who make up our Grameen Jyothi Fellowship.
These fellows are much more than participants in a program. Each brings unique lived experiences, resilience, wisdom, and a deep commitment to creating change in their communities.

Through Hamari Kahaniyan, we are sharing their journeys and offering a closer look at the people behind the work. We are deeply grateful for the trust, honesty, and leadership they bring to our community and look forward to continuing these conversations in the months ahead. The first episode is already up! Watch it here.

3. Sukanya Remesh Featured in Podcast on Women’s Workforce Participation
Global Flames alumna Sukanya Remesh recently joined a podcast conversation exploring one of India's most pressing social and economic questions: why women's participation in the workforce remains among the lowest in the world.
