GETTING THERE

VOLUNTEERS
Will be wearing bright pink wrist bands and name badges. They will be there to assist you.
DISABILITY OR MOVEMENT IMPAIRED
Your driver can drop you at the loading dock, off Druitt Street. (Do not stop on the street!)
If you are unable, or do not wish to climb stairs, there are lifts to Centenary Hall to the right after you enter STAGE DOOR C. Ask a volunteer or Town Hall staff member for directions and assistance.
GETTING INTO TOWN HALL
Walk to the Druitt Street side of Town Hall (the opposite side to Cathedral Square).
ENTRY TO TOWN HALL:
Via Stage Door C, on the side wall of the building, but close to George Street. Volunteers will be there to greet you.
If you do not have a wrist band, you can collect one there.
INSIDE TOWN HALL
Take the stairs to the left, 15 metres in, leading to the next level, Centenary Hall, where you will be seated in the body of the hall in your vocal parts.
Alternatively, request lift access if stairs present a difficulty for you.
The orchestra will be already rehearsing on stage. We hope to be singing with the orchestra 10.00am until 12.30pm.
Toilets are at the front (stage) end of the hall in both left and right corridors.
Music sheets for Lean on Me/Thank You for the Music (our finale) will be available should you be without.
Bags, changes of clothes etc. are to be left on the audience seats in the body of the hall, pending further instructions from Mal.
Hall Exit and Entry throughout the day will be via the Stage Door C.
After the rehearsal, at approximately 12.30, you will be able to rest, regroup and recreate until 3.30, ready to take your allocated seats - to be advised - for the first half of the concert (Primary School Choir etc.)
ARRIVE IN CONCERT DRESS: White tops, black bottoms, and modest cultural colours (e.g. non-reflective broach, bangles, earings, hair band, fabric swatch etc) if desired.
VOLUNTEERS AND TOWN HALL SECURITY will be on duty throughout the day.
