Trump take 2 and Brexit BritainThe mainstream press has divided along predictable lines as to whether Trump's election for a second term provides a new opportunity to get a Brexitty new US-UK trade deal, or (more likely we think!) it shows, once more, that we would be safer and better off inside the EU.

The Angel Inn, Longham- We usually meet for our regular Eurocafe on the first Saturday morning of the month but on December 7, 2024 we are meeting at 13.30 instead.
- We have booked Christmas lunch at The Angel Inn,188 Ringwood Road, Ferndown, BH22 9AP, for 13.30, December 7, 2024.
- Please book a place before November 23 by replying to this newsletter. A £5 deposit is needed to secure a place, which will be deducted from your bill on the day.
- You can use the donate function at the end of the newsletter, or pay directly into our Dorset for Europe TSB bank account: 22823968, Sort code 30-94-90. Either way, please book by November 23 and be sure to mark your payment ‘Christmas lunch’ so we know it is not just a generous donation from you!
