Thursday, June 12th 🪶ᨒ ༄ ⸙ Honouring the First Voices: Teachings & Traditions of the Wolastoqiyik ⸙ ༄ ᨒ 🪶at 6:00 PM at Healing Site, 10 Turtle Ln, Woodstock First Nation, NB E7M 3B4 Join us for a rare and meaningful opportunity to connect with the rich traditions of the Wolastoqiyik (wah-lew-stook-gey-ick) people.
Together, we will share in the warmth of community as we enjoy traditional Maliseet bread is Lakalet (la-ga-led, a cherished Indigenous bread often enjoyed with molasses or butter. This staple of Indigenous cuisine reflects both resilience and tradition, passed down through generations.
Our special guest, Lisa Sappier, Woodstock First Nations Action Elder, will guide us through traditional teachings of the Wolastoqiyik. This is a rare and sacred opportunity to learn directly from one of the knowledge keepers of the First People of Canada.
We will be gathering at a traditional healing site, a space of deep cultural significance. Please dress appropriately for the weather and be prepared to spend time outdoors.This event is open to all who come with respect, curiosity, and a willingness to learn.Let’s walk gently together in the spirit of reconciliation and shared understanding.

Saturday, June 14 Meet & Greet at the Farmers Market from 10:00-11:00 AM at the Woodstock Farm & Craft Market (220 King Street, Woodstock). We will meet on the outdoor patio next to the market. Look for the MACC event sign.
Join us for a friendly chat while enjoying the beautiful downtown river views! Check out the local fresh produce and handmade goods at the market.

Monday, June 16 Field to Vase at 6:00 pm at the MACC Office (647 Main Street, Woodstock, NB E7M 2C7)
Join us to make a Family Bouquet, design your own flower arrangements to take home, while discovering the unique blooms that flourish in New Brunswick during the month of June. Each family can work together to create 1per family flower bouquet to take home for their home.
