A Message of Thanks from the Fundraising Team!
| |
What a year it has been! As Co-VPs of Fundraising for the Redmond Middle School PTSA, we have been inspired by all of the hard work and commitment of parents, students, teachers and staff, and the broader community.
From our Dine-In fundraiser events at Mod Pizza, Panera Bread and Chipotle Mexican Grill to the Totem Lake Book and Art fair event at Barnes and Noble and Salt & Straw, you were instrumental in helping us achieve our fundraising goals. We would also like to thank Haggen, PCC, Mathnasium Redmond, Trader Joe’s, Fred Meyer for their generous donations of snacks that helped keep our students energized for their SBAs and Northwest Cellars, Paint Palace, Molten Works and Tropea Restaurant (hope to see you back in business soon) whose donations of fun experiences and gift cards supported LWSD PTSA Scholarship Auction.
And, a special thanks to Mr. Greg Flint (Art) and Mrs. Ashlyn Stoddard (Band) who made the Book and Art fair such a special experience for our students and families. Have a wonderful summer!
-Jay L. & Nomita Y., Co-VPs of Fundraising

Redmond Food Box Program Needs Summer Donations
| |
The Redmond School Break Food Box Program’s primary goals are to offer nutrition and hope to families experiencing food insecurity. We’re working hard to provide a monthly food box for our neighbors. As a 100% community-backed and local organization, we rely on donations to continue doing what we do! We are ending our second school year with 170 families and a waiting list of 20. The need is still great, but with all your help, we have been able to meet the need, providing boxes of food for families who are having struggles right now to have all the nutrition their families need.We are hoping to have enough funds to help us shop in advance over August, getting ready for the coming school year. If you are able, we could use your donations to help us purchase shelf stable food while there are good sales on. The coming inflation, along with supply side issues and food shortages have been tough on us as well. If you are not able to donate right now, we hope you can send this link on to someone who is interested in food help for families! Please Donate Now! redmondfoodbox.org
