In 'Shaping Tomorrow' we look at the staggering growth of Amazon's workforce (it's been alright for some!), the nostalgic comedy we have been indulging during the pandemic ("I'll be there for you" – any guesses which show that's from?) and the most common types of Cyber crime – which in the wake of last week's conference, is all too pertinent.

The UAE has selected its first female Arab astronaut. Nora AlMatrooshi has been chosen to form a team of four under the UAE Astronaut Programme, which is huge news for the UAE. Brava! And on the topic of epic sojourns, read 'Journey Through The Sahara' by a writer who documents the challenges, hardship and inevitable beauty in the process of getting there. Gulf Israel Women's Forum Remembrance Gathering

During the last Gulf Israel Women's Forum gathering held at Aida Al Busaidy's family farm, who is in Marketing Management at Dubai Tourism, members from both the UAE and Israeli side came together to not discuss the progress being made by the women in this group to solidify these new ties but to also commemorate those who died in the Holocaust in a candle-lighting ceremony. Each candle lit had the name of a survivor and victim, followed by a moment of silent prayer.  A beautiful and solemn moment for each of the women present.
