Saturday 21st March

Ipswich Chamber choir are presenting a new work in support of Papyrus Prevention of young suicide. It is called Carry Me Home and was written by local composer Ben Ponniah in memory of his childhood friend Alex They have asked us to share the event information with you all. The link is below

Saturday May 30th

Everyone is warmly invited to attend a service of remembrance for those bereaved by suicide.

The service will be held at Norwich Anglican Cathedral at 4.30pm.

We look forward to seeing you there.

As the days are getting longer and warmer weather (we hope) returns how about planning some walks or cycle rides in our beautiful counties. Being outside is good for our mental and physical wellbeing. If you dont feel like going alone there are groups and informal sessions you could join.

HOPE 2026 GROUP MEETING DATES

Do come along to one of our monthly group meetings if you can - as ever, you'll be assured of a warm welcome. You are welcome to join or re-join our groups whenever you want to. You can see the dates of all our monthly meetings on our website, and you are also welcome to reach out to Nettie for a copy of all the group details: hopeaftersuicideloss.org.uk/group-meetings/

We know it can feel a bit nerve-wracking joining a new group for the first time, so if you'd like to be connected to your local group facilitator beforehand, let Nettie know. Nettie will also give you the addresses of all the groups for your reference: office@hopeaftersuicideloss.org.uk

SUPPORT

If you, or anyone you know, is in need of support from HOPE, please get in touch or feel free to share our contact details. We offer peer-to-peer monthly group meetings, one-to-one bereavement support (phone or video call), and a limited amount of counselling support from trained professionals.

Simply create an account with Easyfundraising, and choose Hope After Suicide Loss as the cause you want to support. After this, if you are on your browser using your laptop or PC, you click the button which says 'Donation Reminder' - this adds an extension to whatever browser you are using, which will remind you to use Easyfundraising whenever you are making an eligible purchase online. It is safe, secure, and won't slow your browser down. There is also an Easyfundraising app you can download onto your smart device (phone, iPad, etc.) which will help you to include a donation from your retailer to HOPE when you are making an eligible purchase.
