Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama recently produced a new video for Black Warrior Riverkeeper about our mission and our current work, including Riverkeeper patrol, water testing and our robust volunteer cleanups program.

John Kinney, staff scientist at Black Warrior Riverkeeper, is celebrating his 20th year with the organization and was recently named an 'Unsung Hero' by the Alabama Public Service Training Initiative.

 Lilly Roehrig, recent Black Warrior Riverkeeper intern, junior at The University of Alabama, and president of the Forest Stewards Guild, was among 65 college students nationally to earn a Udall Undergraduate Scholarship.
