Welcome Back Fr Andrew Choi! See his note below: My family and I are sincerely grateful for your prayers while my father was hospitalised with a serious illness. Now he has been back home and is recovering. As I know how powerful to pray for each other, I acknowledge that my family could overcome the last few weeks of a hard time with your prayers. Surely it is still a worrying time for my family, but his condition is improving each day, even though slowly. Thank you again for all your concerns and prayers, and please keep him in your prayers. Best, Fr Andrew

Supporting the dignity of mothers: the Caroline Chisholm Society The Caroline Chisholm Society (CCS) describes its purpose as ‘building adult capability’. Founded in the 1960s as a network of volunteers providing aid to vulnerable pregnant women, it was built on the intuition that these women needed more than just doctors. There were so many other supports women lacked, but CSS believed that, with enough generosity and networking, they could provide them. One of these crucial supports was assistance with ‘skill-building’, allowing women to develop enough independence to provide for their children.
Dr Edward Simons appointed as the new Executive Director of Education for Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS). On behalf of the Board, I know you will join me in congratulating Edward on his appointment. Catholic education is a critical nexus in strengthening our communities and nurturing Gospel-centred lights into the world. I am confident that Edward and his Teams will look to build up the partnerships between school, family and parish – working together in mission for the glory of God. - Most Reverend Archbishop Comensoli
