Tell us a bit about yourself and your musical background. What inspired you to get into trance music, and how has your journey evolved over time?
I started my musical journey at eight years old when my brother played Jean-Michel Jarre's legendary song "Oxygene" one Sunday morning. That moment sparked my deep passion for electronic music. I began composing melodies, many of which later evolved into trance tracks.
At the age of 32, I started producing experimental songs on SoundCloud. My journey took a pivotal turn when I met my mentor, who encouraged me to take a production course. This marked the beginning of my foray into trance music. With experience, I started releasing tracks that helped me carve out a space in the trance scene.
You have a new track coming out this month, "Forever For You." Can you tell us about the creative process behind it? What were some of the key inspirations for this song?
"Forever For You" felt like a lightning bolt of inspiration. Mehran Vedadi sent me a melody, and as soon as I heard it, I envisioned the track. It was as if the melody itself revealed the direction we should take.
We wanted to explore new ideas with this track, starting with an intro that stands out for its dynamism and originality. The break was another key element, born out of collaborative brainstorming. Every part of the track was carefully crafted to feel unique and engaging.
How would you describe your approach to creating music, and were there any specific tools or techniques you used for this track?
One technique I proposed was the countermelody—a secondary melody that contrasts with the main composition but fits perfectly. It was an ambitious idea that turned out beautifully and added depth to the track.
What was the most challenging part of producing this song? Was there a moment when things clicked, and it all came together?
The biggest challenge was managing the many harmonic elements throughout the track—it was a healthy madness! Finding the right balance and placing every sound in its proper place took effort, but it was incredibly rewarding. When we listened to the finished track, it was an emotional moment. We knew it was something special that had to be shared with the world.
You’re releasing this track under Lost Kommunication Records. How has working with the label influenced your music, and what excites you about being part of the family?
Working with Lost Kommunication Records has been transformative. Since releasing my first track, Solstice, the label has opened doors for me, connecting me with DJs, listeners, and other producers. My monthly Spotify listeners grew from 100 to 900—a huge milestone for me.
Being part of Lost Kommunication feels like being part of a family that genuinely cares about artists and helps elevate their visibility and prestige. I’m incredibly proud to be part of this team.
Can you tell us a bit about where you're from and how that place has influenced your music or the way you approach your sound?
I’m from Tavernes de la Valldigna, a city in the province of Valencia, Spain. It’s a beautiful valley surrounded by mountains, with trails leading to magical and mysterious places. Tavernes also has a beach by the Mediterranean Sea, a pure and unpolluted paradise.
This natural environment inspires me deeply, infusing my music with a sense of wonder and tranquility.
As a producer, what do you think is the future of trance music, and where do you see your sound evolving in the coming years?
Trance music is constantly evolving and growing, attracting new fans every day. Its magnetism, emotional depth, and uplifting melodies ensure its longevity.
As for my sound, I’m exploring new techniques and experimenting with captivating melodies. I aim to create music that resonates with audiences hungry for quality trance. The future holds exciting sonic and emotional journeys for me.
Looking ahead, do you see yourself collaborating again in the future? What’s next for you as an artist, or do you have solo projects on the horizon as well?
Mehran and I are already working on more collaborations, and we’ll definitely return to Lost Kommunication Records soon.
I’m also working on solo tracks and collaborations with other producers. While the process is slower, I’m excited to release more music in the near future.
