Hello Reverbians

We are hoping that you will join us this year for Axis Mundi! This could be a pivotal year for Burning Man...join us in the Nevada Desert for our counter culture and gifting economy. Solidarity at this globally unique festival keeps our community alive and with purpose.

Because of some very challenging weather the past couple of years (but amazing at the same time) and the current global economy...Burning Man's numbers will likely be down by another 10,000-15,000 people. Lower numbers will not be a terrible thing for veteran and new adventure seeking participants...as more space can translate into less crowded lines around art pieces, and will be much better for a soul searching deep playa walkabout or rideabout journey.

Regular Registration now ongoing

Early Bird Registration ended May 10th! We are now under our Regular Registration, which goes on through June 30th. All qualifying Early Bird registrations must have their invoices paid by May 18th to qualify for that discount, otherwise they will have to pay Regular Registration rates.

July 1st, Late Registration begins, which will be ongoing until our camp fills or 2 weeks before the Burn.

Remember.... Veterans....Camp Applications at Reverbia.org are only for those who have not camped with us before to become approved.

Attendance

Due to Reverbia resource management, Reverbia is planning on a population around 225-250 campers. Once Reverbia reaches our numbers... we will start a waiting list.

Tickets

If you are registered with Reverbia and are in need of a ticket, please contact our Admin Lead, Nicole McClelland at reverbia.camp.apps@gmail.com. We may have extra tickets circulating through our group from the cheaper Steward Sale. Burning Man's STEP program is open now as a source of tickets...as well as Ticket Aid (for those who need assistance).We will put all campers who need a ticket on our Ticket Resource List!! Let

Let Nicole know if you have an extra ticket that another Reverbian can purchase.

Additional Leadership Updates

We are super charged to announce some more returning and new Leads:

Meghan Hiller aka Hex- will be returning as our Design Core Lead, and already has some great design ideas for our Upgraded Embassy Jam and Teahouse., Our Main Stage Towers, The Phoenix Rising (Shade Stage) flooring...and our Bat Wing Lounge (which we are hoping to make into a more watertight shelter.). We missed you last year Hex!

Alden Packard aka hmmm...maybe Stagedust???- Returning as our Infrastructure Co-Lead: Stage. Alden will once again supervise the construction of our Main Stage, working in league with our other mechanical engineers to further strengthen and refine the safety protocols of the stage structure. Preparations are being made with full consideration for the possibility of another reported 30 mph wind event unexpectedly jumping to 60 mph gusts.

Justin Burton aka "Cozmo Kaos" - DPW- Co-Lead: Water/Showers. Will now be assisting his Uncle Bob Zook aka Cozmo on DPW...as Phinzy cannot make Build this year (no sadness... as Phin is still coming for Burn week). Justin's energy is a certain uplifting of the spirit! Glad to have him back.

Jae Sheilds aka Jae Bear- Build BeForeman- Jae finally joins our Leadership team after 2 stellar years of Volunteer Service, delivered with enthusiasm, grit, and dedication to completion. *But with Jae's return...please be wary that Grammama may also be an imminent return as well...as she somehow seems to each year have as much vigor (really rancor) as ever before...always seeming to come out of her tent when Jae is gone just so she can shit kick behind his back.

Build Team, Kitchen Team and Exit Team

Build Team, may have a couple more spaces. "To Build Reverbia is to know Reverbia". Come Early, be a part of a smaller community, watch Black Rock City form from scratch... volunteer service up front so that you can take The Burn week off. Angie is our Build Lead...this is gonna be one amazing week!

Kitchen Team is full, but if you want to be an alternate, contact Kitchen Manager Annie for one of our 3 daily shifts. Kitchen will be known this year as The Reverbian "Bitchin Kitchen" which if you say 5 x fast, may get you a special snack. This team means business...why else would you plan to wear a shirt with your motto on it!!!

Reverbians...this will be a choice area to volunteer your camp service this year!

Exit Team closes the last packed container from our All Camp Tear Down... and then moops until we are LNT. Team positions are still available and note that our Exit Team is not required to do Volunteer Service (*except for Moop Squad) during Burn Week. We have had some very amazing people signing up for this team. Where else can you wait out the long lines of exodus, have a decompression campfire and pot luck with music...and watch the city go back to the nature it was 2 months before...It is really quite fulfilling.
