Digital Seniors- Volunteer Opportunity
Do you have 2 hours to spare to help? Do you live in the North Shore?
Nearly 200 North Shore seniors have been building their digital confidence with free, one-on-one technology support sessions offered through the Digital Seniors pilot programme. Since the launch of the pilot in late 2022, seniors across North Shore hubs have received one-on-one support in the Devonport Community House, and the Takapuna, Birkenhead, Glenfield and East Coast Bays libraries. A new Digital Seniors hub is currently being set up in Albany and Digital Seniors is urgently looking for more volunteers to be digital coaches especially from the Albany and surrounding Upper Harbour area.
You don’t need to be a tech expert, just have confidence and basic digital skills. So if you have a couple of hours a week to spare and want to give something back to your local community then come join the fun Digital Seniors team of friendly volunteers!
