Heritage Weekend
The church and churchyard will be welcoming visitors this weekend on Saturday and Sunday (12th-13th September) for the annual National Heritage events.  Come and visit the graveyard and find out about some of the people buried at or associated with St Nicolas and the historic features of our church building.  No need to book - just pop in and say hello!
Tots Alive
Over the summer, we enjoyed rhyme time in the pastoral garden, with picnic blankets and plenty of singing. We also welcomed our new elephant mascot, who the children helped name. She is now Edwina, a name chosen by a little girl who has a particular soft spot for her!

We had our first normal Tots Alive session back on Monday and have introduced some new sensory play and painting activities alongside our usual toys, songs and stories. We’re looking forward to another lovely term together.

Would you be interested in joining the Tots Alive team or leading the occasional rhyme time?
If so, please email me at charlotte.coe@stnicolasbookham.org.uk

Glow
Over the summer break, the children helped create a church banner, trying out different art techniques each week, including painting with sponges and bubble wrap. We’re looking forward to putting it up in church once I work out the best way to attach it!
In Glow, we’ll also be starting our stewardship programme, where the children will create items to sell to raise money for the church. Look out for more updates as the project takes shape!
Keeping up to date
Our weekly notice sheet is available online (click here) and in church. Excerpts from our 10 o’clock service last Sunday, are available here.
