Is it us, or are there more cars than ever on the roads? We certainly are feeling the population swell at the bookstore. But no complaints here!
You'll see that we have many upcoming author events lined up. Please don't wait to register, as some of them have limited capacity. We love bringing awesome literary events to you, and we appreciate your attendance and book purchases. As a matter of fact, it's those book purchases that keep great authors coming to us.

Many thanks to everyone who helped us celebrate our 10th Anniversary on January 14! (Our actual anniversary date is October 1, but that was "blown away.") We enjoyed seeing you during the day and for our evening Open House (featuring wonderful wines from Punta Gorda Chocolate & Wine). Thank you also to those who brought/sent flowers, plants, and cards. We appreciate your thoughtfulness more than you can know.

Black History Month celebrates the contributions that African Americans have made to American history and acknowledges the struggle for freedom and equality, deepening our understanding of our Nation's history. It serves as an opportunity to highlight the often-overlooked stories and achievements of the black community and to educate and inform all of us about the important role African Americans have played in shaping our society.
We invite you to peruse our special Black History Month table and select one or two titles this month to read and enrich your heart and mind.
