EVENTS & news with Matt Finch - Edition 30 |
Hello all
I'm starting another Good Afternoon Choir, on Friday afternoons in the village of Holt, just outside Bradford on Avon in Wiltshre. It starts on Friday 23rd February 1pm to 3pm. It's a great village hall with 50 spaces for parking, and right next to a tea shop! Singing in the Afternoon's means no late night rehearsals in the dark. If you want to know more details send an email to gac@grenvillemusic.co.uk and let them know you are interested!Next week I get the opportunity to conduct a 40 piece orchestra playing some beautiful music from the shows - in Musical Melodies 7. There are some tickets still left in the front two rows (the best seats as you can see the sweat drip off the violinists) and right at the back. Ever been on a choir holiday? If you fancy singing some Gershwin, Porter and Ellington - why not join me in Lincoln in August with RunBySingers? Lots of singing, good food, and friendship in the gorgeous city of Lincoln.
Today I was also lucky enough to play for an audience of toddlers with Music for Miniatures - what a brilliant organisation - check them out - especially if you have kids or grand kids in the area.

HORIZONS IN BATH ABBEY
1pm Saturday 2nd March 2024Bath Abbey has the most fabulous acoustics, and Horizons is lucky to have secured a 50 minute concert, which is free to anyone attending the Abbey on the day. So not only do you get a free concert, but you get to come in to the beautiful Abbey for free!!
We sang there last year and it was magical

A free night of music in Bath - My choir Horizons will be performing along with The Noteables, and then later on I'll be leading the Widcombe Community Choir in Widcombe Community Centre.
