This summer was busy in all the good ways. I had several events around my book with the highlights being a reading/conversation with Dad in Salida and the opportunity to share the magic of Labyrinths with a group of educators in Englewood. We had a fantastic time, and I was able to share my portable labyrinth!  

I spent quite a bit of time with Dad. Right before Memorial Day weekend, Dad was in an accident. He walked away from it. But lost his license (Colorado law). Great news, he has his license back and is doing just fine.  He has taken every step in stride. Beautifully. I am so grateful for his tenacity, for our friendship the love we have for one another, and for figuring out life. I also love spending time with him.... 

So... I wrote about it.  I am excited to share the story of Dad's accident in a collaborative book with a group of amazing writers that will come out in November.  Writing in a collaborative book was a totally different and also amazing experience and I look forward to sharing it with everyone! Planting the Seed, release date November 16th! 

I was able to do a writing retreat in upstate Vermont with my publishing company, Red Thread Publishing. I snuck in a quick visit with Hannah to see Abraham in Michigan.

One of the questions from that list of Do you 10Q is about what you think the next year will bring for you. Any day now, I will be getting my vaulted questions from last year. I cannot wait to read what I wrote a year ago. I am sure I did not predict any of the true magic this year has brought me.
