Do you have experience with Python and intro-level statistics? Then volunteer to mentor 11th and 12th graders who are participating in the University of Virginia’s Data + Society Challenge! It only requires 45 minutes of your time for four months (Jan. - Apr. 2024), plus a 30-minute introductory meeting to learn about the challenge materials.
You can help high schoolers get a taste of data science - plus a shot at winning $500 and lunch with a UVA data scientist.
