Good Travel Seal Certification for Businesses in Sri Lanka - Phase II |

The second phase of the business certification program, in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority and the UNDP Biodiversity Finance Initiative, has begun. One hundred businesses from the SME sector have achieved various levels of the Good Travel Seal certification in the first phase of this program. Regional coordinator of Green Destinations, Chinthana Duminduhewa, and his team conducted awareness programs in Polonnaruwa, Anuradhapura Udawalawa, and Tissamaharama (Yala) regions in Sri Lanka. Various steps in the Good Travel Seal certification process were explained to the participants, and an internal committee will select 100 eligible businesses and certify them for their sustainable practices.
