Included in the many emotions we are holding following the election is a feeling of ambition. All year we’ve delivered programs and produced events for the online Curve Community of 10,000 plus the 150,000 more who subscribe to our newsletter. Thousands of you have joined us in person in cities across the U.S. With such a powerful response we’ve been hard at work preparing for 2025, in fact, we’re planning for growth!
Lesbian Visibility Week will be back bigger than ever with over 60 events planned online and in San Francisco, NYC, L.A., and more cities are being added as we write this. The book clubs, film screenings, and panel events that together are known as Curve Conversations, will be taking place all year long. The year-long Curve Fellowship for Emerging Journalists will kick off in August and we are actively seeking sponsors to help us expand this cohort.
It is important to us to continue offering these programs to everyone, free of charge. We’re excited to share that we’ve been given a matching gift of $25,000 to help us achieve this in 2025.
