Background: Nathan minored in philosophy and earned a BS in psychology from Duke University, where he was a research assistant for Paul Seli in the Mind at Large Lab. Upon graduation, he worked in several psychology labs as a researcher and project manager at Duke, Princeton, Boston College, and MIT. Current Role: Nathan is a first-year PhD student in the Applied Moral Psychology Lab in the Department of Psychology at Cornell University. He is particularly interested in applying computational methods to explore questions related to moral psychology. Outside of School and Work: When Nathan isn’t thinking about research or coding, he’s probably thinking about soccer, which is the love of his life. He also enjoys watching sci-fi and action films, experimenting with music production, and working out.
