Happy September!
August was very busy for us both businesswise and on the PR front. Thanks to your continued support we had our best August since the pandemic! As a thank you to all travel advisors who make bookings with us, we have created a promotion that has a Grand Prize of $500 with several $100 prizes as well. If you are SNG CATA, you have doubled your chances for the prizes! If you haven’t completed the certification yet, make sure you do for those extra chances. Jimmy has given a detailed explanation of the promotion below in the newsletter.
On the PR side, we were fortunate enough to be featured both in print and on television last month. A BIG THANK YOU goes out to Travel Agent Central and our local South Florida ABC affiliate WPLG, for recognizing the need to inform the Travel Advisor community as well as the general public that our services are available to make your clients’ dream vacations a reality. Both parties have seen a growing misconception that travel needs to end as we age. So, they wanted to spread our message that travel can continue to be enjoyable regardless of one’s abilities or age.
Carl Sagan always used to say that humans are a nomadic species, that the need to explore, to forever push the frontier outward is a core aspect of our identity. Exploration drives us, it requires us to constantly develop new ways to use our brains, but most importantly it gives us valuable perspective on the places we call home. Together, we will expand the horizons of many who did not realize exploration…travel is an enjoyable possibility.

Sun & Fun Cycles Since 2014, Special Needs Group has been pleased to work with Sun & Fun Cycles on the Hollywood Broadwalk in Hollywood, Florida. Sun & Fun rents the Joy on the Beach Wheelchair on a daily/hourly basis for those visiting Hollywood Beach.
Sun & Fun Cycles Owner, Lenny Ivler, recently demonstrated the JOB to a group on a FAM Tour, who was joined by Hollywood Commissioner, Caryl Shuham.
In addition to the JOB, Sun & Fun also rents Wheelchairs and Scooters provided by SNG as well as other mobility rentals. |

Accessibility Subsection: Airport Accessibility |
Special Needs Group recently added to our Accessibility Section with the Airport Accessibility subsection.
SNG is working directly with the TSA in building out the new section.
TSA is implementing a range of initiatives to optimize the security screening experience at the Nation’s airports in support of enhancing the customer travel experience.
