Welcome to those who have already put their hands up to create more choral magic for 2026: Our choir already includes previous CSO! singers, first time singers, and some members of the 2025 audience who were inspired to move from the stalls and gallery onto the concert platform for 2026. It's another fabulous opportunity for connection and wellbeing through music. Leadership by the legendary Brett Weymark OAM and the inspiring teaching of Warren Fisher, our choral conductors. Hundreds of youth and adults will sing glorious harmonies as Soprano, Alto Tenor, and Bass voices rise up and blend. Favourite repertoire: Mozart, Tchaikovsky & Peter Allen One unforgettable day of final rehearsal and concert on Sunday 1st November. Magnificent accompaniment by the TOPS full symphony orchestra and the internationally-revered Sydney Town Hall Grand Organ. Iconic Sydney Town Hall venue. Learning the music is laid out for you!
High quality and clearly presented print music and audio tracks are available online for you to view, listen and download. Check out the resources here!EASY STEPS TO LEARNING the MUSIC Listen lots. On your phone, in your car, around the house and more. Simply soak it in. Conduct, move or dance to the music. Vocalise: Choose familiar or repeated moments in the music to hum or use a la, loo or any other other syllable to match your line. If you are finding or difficulty with the pitch range, try a different Soprano Alto Tenor or Bass (SATB) voice type. Text: Learn the text from the page, separately from the music. Say it out loud, in rhythm, or not in rhythm. Play around with it! Speak the text along with the guide tracks to get the rhythm into place Text + Pitch: Gradually start to add text to the pitch and sing familiar phrases from anywhere in the piece. Join up the bits: As you become familiar, start to connect the patches of music that you know. Known to Unknown: Work from the easier and known music gradually in to the more challenging and unfamiliar sections. Patch: Don't work from the beginning to the end of a piece. Learn or sing from anywhere that grabs you in a particular piece, and gradually learn the connecting sections. Rehearsals: Connect live, online or listen afterwards to Notes@Knox and Notes@Knox Extra rehearsals

Why Singing Matters
Singing together is uplifting, energising and deeply human.
Research continues to show that group singing can reduce stress, improve wellbeing, strengthen social connection and build confidence. Many singers describe choir participation as one of the highlights of their year.
Celebration Sing Out! is more than a concert. It is community. It is friendship. It is joy. It is purpose.

Reconnect with Old Friends & Great Music
Former school music campers, choir members, instrumentalists and music teachers are especially invited to reconnect through the joy of music-making once again.
Many adult singers return each year to sing alongside former students, colleagues and lifelong friends while reliving the excitement of great performances in Sydney Town Hall.
Whether your musical journey began in a school choir, music camp, church choir or community ensemble — Celebration Sing Out! welcomes you home.
