At least four celebrities died this past week, but the two that seemed to generate the most attention and conversation were heavy-metal singer Ozzy Osbourne (at age 76) on Tuesday and professional wrestler Hulk Hogan. (at age 71) on Thursday. That’s not surprising, seeing as each of them reached iconic status that transcended the fields in which they originally found fame.
For many of the readers of this newsletter, when somebody dies (famous or not), the question that arises is where that person stood with God. In the case of Hulk Hogan, the answer seems pretty obvious. This video from 2024 is 11:31 long and should leave very little doubt. If you haven’t seen it before, I highly recommend it: |

As for Ozzy Osbourne, things may appear murky at best, but there is reason for hope. The video below is an excerpt from an interview posted less than two weeks ago by Josh Sazdanoff of Breakn Truth Ministries. Josh spoke for over two hours with Dylan Novak a.k.a. “The Celebrity Evangelist,” who has personally shared the Gospel with many celebrities over the years.

Update on Our Upcoming CD |
Our upcoming 79th CD, Louder Than Plaid, has been at the manufacturer for a week and a half and is expected to be in stock about two weeks from now.
In the meantime, we have a new single due out by the end of this weekend, Lord willing (the songs are already mixed and approved), although that single’s songs are slated for our 80th CD, You’re in the Eighties Now.
In order to prevent information overload (by putting a new single and a new CD in our online store at the same time), we plan to wait another week before taking orders for the Louder Than Plaid CD. |

ApologetiX has been asked to return for the fourth annual Immortal Fest Part II, which will once again take place on Labor Day Weekend (Immortal Fest Part I takes place in late July).
This year, we’ll be playing on Saturday night, and our set list will consist entirely of parodies we have never played live before!
The event is also available as pay-per-view live-streaming. You can get tickets for either on the event’s website. Tickets are available for each individual day or for the entire weekend. |
