Are you ready to volunteer for our Annual

Fundraising OT Week Quiz Night?!!

We are once again thrilled to be hosting our annual Fundraising Quiz Night for the third year in succession to celebrate OT Week in 2023. We are proud to announce that the beneficiary of all funds raised will again be Wheelchairs for Kids, and with your help, we are hoping it will be our biggest event ever!

On behalf of OTSG and the Solutions Centre, we would like to offer you an exciting opportunity to help support and volunteer at this year's fundraising Quiz Night to celebrate OT Week 2023, promoting "Unity Through Community"!

We are currently looking for people to volunteer and support us on the night with setup, clean up, and simple tasks the during the event! We will be starting set up at 3.00pm, doors open at 6:00pm and event finishes at 10.00pm. Any help before, or during is much appreciated!

You will be assisting our staff and other volunteers to:

Welcome guests and help guests to their table
Counting Quiz scores
Game and raffle ticket purchases
Setting up decorations etc...

As a thank you we will include light finger food and non-alcholic beverages, and you will also be awarded a CPD certificate for your hours.

ABOUT THIS EVENT

#OTWeek2023 is an opportunity to celebrate Occupational Therapy and promote the awesome work that Occupational Therapists do across Australia. This year's event will bring together allied health practitioners, students, suppliers, clients and the wider community, to decide who will be awarded the 2023 OT Week Quiz Night Trophy 🏆!

The @Solutions Centre, supported by @OT Services Group & @OT Australia are hosting this year's Quiz Night. It will test your general knowledge while promoting this year's theme of "Unity Through Community".

This event is raising funds for @Wheelchairs for Kids, a WA-based charity which operates solely on donations, grants and volunteers to provide opportunities to support mobility for children in impoverished communities around the globe! 🌍♿

Wheelchairs for Kids will be joining us on the night!

The Solutions Centre is a community collaboration supported by Glide Products, Emprise Mobility, National Trade Suppliers (NTS), OT Services Group & Freedom Motors WA. Located in Malaga, the centre brings service users, suppliers, students and therapists together into one centralised location, offering initiatives to support the WA disability community!

Occupational Therapy Australia (OTA) is the peak professional body representing the interests of occupational therapists within Australia. OTA comprises over 12,000 members across every state and territory, and is the largest group/association for occupational therapists in WA. OTA represents, supports, strengthens and resources the continually evolving occupational therapy profession.

OT Australia will be joining in on the fun... all the way from the East coast!

Occupational Therapy Services Group (OTSG) provides a variety of specialty Occupational Therapy services to the Perth metropolitan region and surrounding rural areas. OTSG's services are divided into five specialty areas and are designed to enhance a person's safety & independence, helping the person to keep an active lifestyle.

What's Included?

🧀A delicious and freshly prepared grazing board for each table! (BYO food and snacks are welcome. Delivery of food is permitted to the venue).

☕🍺 Three drink tokens per person. Enjoy a beer, wine, soft drink, water or hot drink of your choice!

🔞 The event is suited for people aged 18 years or above.

***If you are under 18 years of age, a parent or guardian must accompany you to this event.

Are you feeling generous?

For those who really want to contribute to the cause, @Wheelchairs for Kids estimates that it costs $300 to manufacture one wheelchair. Each wheelchair produced provides mobility to children around the world who otherwise wouldn't be able to access basic amenities.

If you can’t make it on the night, this is a great way to still support this event!

For these extra special contributions, you will be placed in our VIP draw for a chance to win our BIG PRIZE on the night!!
