What is Showerbuddy?
Showerbuddy is a shower chair transfer system designed for facilitating bathroom mobility. There is a range of Showerbuddy products which improve outcomes for individuals who require assistance with showering/toileting - this system can often avoid the need for bathroom modifications!
This session will look at how the Showerbuddy system can support:
- Accessing a shower, bath and toilet
- Safe, secure and comfortable bathing
- Maintaining privacy and dignity
- Expensive or impractical structural modifications
- Clearing the edge of a shower or bath to reduce risk of falls
This is a hands-on session, with the opportunity to try the system working over a bath!

This PD event is targeted towards all allied health and students who work or have an interest in home modification and/or assistive technology.
All attendees will receive an attendance certificate for their Professional Development requirements.
