An iconic art nouveau five-storey building from 1904 is being redeveloped into an exclusive collection of sophisticated, urban homes. This modern gem in the heart of Palma's old town will consist of seven one-of-a-kind residences: five spacious apartments with balconies and bay windows overlooking the street, and two impressive penthouses with private roof terraces offering views over the city. Make sure to check it out before it's too late!

The open layouts & design of these apartments is perfect! We love the big windows that lets in lots of light, the mix between unique pattered floors and modern furniture & the amazing bedrooms.

🎤  5 questions with Cassandra Reynoso, founder of La Victoria
Tell us a bit about yourself and what you do: I'm Cassandra Reynoso, born and raised in Mexico, currently living in and loving Mallorca.

I have been away from home for some time now and oh how I missed the street taste!
Whenever I went to a Mexican restaurant I felt so sad that people thought Mexican food is Tex-Mex, when it is not. No one in Mexico eats Tex-Mex. Tex-Mex is our enemy! So, I had to cook it myself. For 12 years I have experimented with techniques and ingredients and finally I nailed it, authentic Mexican street food in Mallorca.
High quality, tasty tacos made from prime ingredients, the freshest guacamole you can get, exquisite ceviches, sauces made from scratch, tostadas, quesadillas and much more.

My love for cooking and the immense variety the market had to offer encouraged me to experiment even further, so I created a Mexican fusion line for not so delicate palates who enjoy an avalanche of surprising flavours and colours.

Instagram worth following: Please follow me.

Favourite place to swim: So many! But I think my favourite is Cala Llombards. I like jumping in with my son and looking at the side happily swimming around.

A place worth eating at: Holbox Sushi, in Santa Catalina Market. Amazing!

Who is making a product we should know about: There are many talented people on this island. An example is Dory Gil, from Tilindipa, she makes gorgeous jewellery. Her Instagram is TILINDIPIA.

Best month of the year in Mallorca: I love summer, July in particular. Yes, it is hot, it is humid, we complain... It is fantastic.

What is one other secret/great tip about Mallorca that you'd like to share with our readers?: We all love the beach but do not forget the mountains! From October until May you can bring meat and veggies to grill and have a fantastic hike + BBQ!

👀 Idas tips

As you might know, I love Japanese food. Thats why I got really excited when I found Rö's instagram account the other day. Rö's sushi looks so great & fresh.

Even though Rö is placed on the North East of the Island, about one hour from us, it's on the top of our list for new restaurants to visit.

Make sure to check them out if you looking to find a great sushi place.
