NEW: Monthly Support Group in Norwich

Our new group in Norwich started earlier this month, and it is lovely to see the beginning of a new HOPE community forming there. Many thanks to the survivors who joined, and to our wonderful group facilitators.

If you're local to the Norwich area, please feel free to come along to our next session, which will take place on the 18th November from 6.30-8pm, in the Jarrold Room at YMCA Norfolk (NR3 2HF).
HOPE Feedback Questionnaire

We recently had our HOPE Strategy Day for 2025 with the staff and trustees at HOPE. One of the outcomes of this meeting was around giving more opportunities for feedback to our survivors, to continue making sure our services are shaped and led by survivors themselves as much as possible.

As such, we have created a simple online form to give space to you to share your feedback with us, things that have been helpful and useful from our services, as well as space for anything you think we could be doing differently.

We will be sharing this feedback form at points throughout the year moving forwards, and one of those points is now! Your answers will come through to us anonymously, and they will be used to consider ways in which we can improve our services. We may also use some of the information from your answers to illustrate the impact of our services, such as on marketing materials or when writing applications for grant funding. Please bear this in mind when you complete the form - we won't include any personal information if shared, so may adapt your answer to remove personal information if shared.

Here is the link to the form. Many thanks in advance for taking the time to provide your feedback - it is greatly appreciated and we consider this information to be very valuable in shaping HOPE.
HOPE GROUP MEETING DATES

Don't forget you can see the dates of all our monthly meetings in 2025 on our website:
hopeaftersuicideloss.org.uk/group-meetings/

Do come along if you can - as ever, you'll be assured of a warm welcome. You are welcome to join or re-join our groups whenever you want to.

We know it can feel a bit nerve-wracking joining a new group for the first time, so if you'd like to be connected to your local group facilitator beforehand, let Ruby know. Ruby will also give you the addresses of all the groups for your reference: office@hopeaftersuicideloss.org.uk

The next meetings to take place are:
  • Lowestoft: 4th November
  • Bury St Edmunds: 12th November
  • Ipswich: 19th November
  • Harleston: 10th November
  • King's Lynn: 5th November
  • Norwich: 18th November

How does it work?
Simply create an account with Easyfundraising, and choose Hope After Suicide Loss as the cause you want to support. After this, if you are on your browser using your laptop or PC, you click the button which says 'Donation Reminder' - this adds an extension to whatever browser you are using, which will remind you to use Easyfundraising whenever you are making an eligible purchase online. It is safe, secure, and won't slow your browser down. There is also an Easyfundraising app you can download onto your smart device (phone, iPad, etc.) which will help you to include a donation from your retailer to HOPE when you are making an eligible purchase.

It is a wonderful idea for a donation platform, at no extra cost to you. If you have any questions about getting set up, Ruby would be happy to talk you through the process:
