Ouachita Baptist University, an AR INBRE-affiliated institution, is pleased to host Dr. Mary K. Carroll for the 2024-2025 Nell Mondy Lecture TOMORROW, Tues, Feb 25 at 7:30 pm.
Dr. Mary K. Carroll is the Dwane W. Crichton Professor of Chemistry at Union College (Schenectady, NY), a co-founder of SunThru LLC, and the Immediate Past President of the American Chemical Society. Her research specializes in aerogel development and investigating aerogel applications in sustainable buildings, chemical sensing, drag reduction, and automotive pollution mitigation.
Dr. Carroll will be giving a free public lecture “Aerogels! Materials for the Future” in the Walker Conference Center located on Ouachita’s campus in Arkadelphia. (Google Driving Directions; OBU Campus Map)
