The Society for the Improvement of Psychological Science (SIPS) 2026 featured several exciting FORRT-related recognitions and contributions.
Most notably, Replication Research received one of the SIPS Mission Awards. We also spotted a number of FORRT-connected initiatives and presentations, including the ECR Reviewers Platform led by Rachel Heyard, Love Replications Week co-organized by FORRT, The Advantage of Big Team Science featuring several FORRT members, and Why I Declare a Conflict of Interest - and You Should Too by Steven Verheyen.

The Replication Hub continues to make replications more visible. As part of the Making Replications Count project, the team has now posted 99 PubPeer comments linking original studies to their replications—with over 2,400 more comments to follow. |

FORRT at UNESCO's IDSSD Conference |

FORRT was proud to attend the first International Decade of Science for Sustainable Development (IDSSD) Conference at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris. Representing FORRT were Sarah, Director of Social Justice & DEIA, and Meera, FORRT Steward.
The conference brought together ministers, leaders of international scientific organisations, and representatives of endorsed programmes from around the world.
A key message emerged: While we have the knowledge to tackle global challenges, the next step is turning that knowledge into policy - and policy into meaningful action.
This is a challenge FORRT is embracing through FORWARD, our IDSSD programme. Stay tuned for its official launch and the work ahead throughout the decade. |
