In this episode, Geoff Carr, Brian Gallagher, and Luc Gougeon preview CALL SIG presentations that will be happening at the 2025 PANSIG Conference at Kanda University of International Studies in Kaihinmakuhari, Chiba, from May 16th to 18th. We learn what exactly the PanSIG conference is and what is the theme for this year's conference is "Agency and Autonomy in Language Learning."

Presentations include talks on AI in Language Education, Learner Autonomy, Digital Tools, Critical Thinking, Academic Skills, and Intercultural Contexts. 3. JALTCALL 2025 Early Bird Registration Reminder

A friendly reminder that early bird registration for JALTCALL 2025 is open and ends May 31 (just over 2 weeks from now!) In addition, all presenters must register during the early bird period to guarantee their spot on the official conference schedule. Presenters who do not register by this deadline may risk losing their scheduled presentation slot.

JALTCALL 2025 is scheduled for July 18–20 at Tokyo University of Science, Katsushika Campus. This year's theme, CALL for All, highlights how all language teachers have become CALL practitioners amid recent advances in AI and digital education.
