Suddenly, everyone is talking about Brexit! You can see an interactive image of the graph above here. There is little doubt, now, that the majority of the country think it was a mistake to leave the EU and Brexit is not a settled question, according to SirJohn Curtice, the 'polling guru'. Friends and allies abroad have long known about the damage, perhaps seeing it more clearly from a distance. 'The New Atlantic' says the U.K. shows us what can happen when a rich country seems to reject the legacy of industrialization, productivity, and globalization. "Rather than transforming into some post-economic Eden of good vibes, it becomes bitter, flailing, and nonsensical."It does seem as if the long silence, when Brexit was not to be mentioned by politicians, commentators, or anyone else, is finally coming to an end: even on BBC Question Time. We would love to start putting on street stalls across Dorset again to encourage this 'talk about Brexit' trend - but each one needs a team of at least four volunteers. Are you up for it it? Please reply to this message to let us know, if so. There have been lots of recent, successful examples that we can follow, like this one in Exeter recently.

We had a full coach and more attending the first National Rejoin March (NRM) last month - and Dorset was well cited in a Guardian article about the march. The NRM organising committee have very busy since then. Check their website for images of the day, send in some of your own, or listen to the speeches from the rally. Next, they are planning a national 'Day for Rejoin', with simultaneous events across the UK and EU. Dorset for Europe will certainly plan something locally - so save the date 25th March 2023 and let us know if you can be in at the start of the planning process.
