Dorset for EuropeDorset for Europe has close links with many organisations and we are aware of others whose aims are similar to ours. Some key organisations are highlighted each month. Please tell us of any organisations that you think we should know about. Young European Movement (YEM UK) - YEM UK is the home for the UK’s young pro-European activists.
- They describe themselves as the product of two parent organisations: the youth section of the European Movement (Dorset for Europe is a branch of EM) and the UK section of JEF Europe, which a young federalist movement in Europe.
- YEM UK holds regular events and gigs for young people.
- It is engaged in campaigns of direct interest to those under 35 years, but older people can join as a Friend of YEM.
- Current campaigns include one to rejoin Erasmus Plus, so UK's young people are no longer locked out this opportunity, and ones about voting age and proportional representation.
- We'd love a local branch of YEM. Would you? Let us know if you would help to set one up.
