Hello all!
How's this week been for everyone? We're feeling like there's an air of progress towards further adaption to the virus – because, let's face it, it's a virus, it's not going anywhere, and neither are we, so we are just going to have to adapt and carry on i.e., by getting the vaccine and countries finally opening their borders to us (Buongiorno, Italy! Skip to Outlook for a dose of darling Venice). On that happy note, take a look at the Happiest Countries In The World report from Statista in 'Shaping Tomorrow' – interestingly, despite the onset of the pandemic, happiness scores did not change majorly around the world since 2020.
In our personal positive news, our client, Martins Wine Advisor have just launched an exclusive nine-year wine collection called Wines From Another World. From the most unique and rare vineyards in the world, they are curating a stunning and limited edition wine collection across nine-years on an exclusive invitation only basis. Read more about it below!
Moving swiftly onto automation – as you do – our Digital Media Communications Creative weighs in on why we use automation and how it improves productivity and yields better business results in 'The Mind Lab'.
Onto our long reads in 'Diversions', we scope out the notion of saying 'no' more than we say 'yes' (anyone else struggle with this?) in a damning Forbes article where we get some suggestions for how to say 'no' without sounding harsh or cruel. We also look into the anxiety that limits our creative genius in a BBC article. There are methods that anyone, in almost any workplace, can use to manage and reduce their creativity anxiety which then unleashes more original and innovative thinking. A helpful manual for when you want to turn your creative content development doom into boom.
Other than that, we're plodding along nicely.
So, who is planning a trip to Italy now that we can!?
Team E.
